Château Lilian Ladouys Saint Estèphe 2009 Grand Vin Bordeaux

Château Lilian Ladouys Saint Estèphe 2009 Grand Vin Bordeaux, $31.44-$36.99, 91 points, is Burgundy, trending crystal-clear ruby in color.
The aroma is an earthy cinnamon with a hint of licorice.
Good acidity and strident tannin tend to make this a rough-astringent dry red wine with a medium body.
Flavorful though, with juicy blackberry and plum, a hint of licorice and java, but it is the never-ending finish of spice that I like, and with a touch of heat (14% alcohol) this Bordeaux leaves an impression.
I'm guessing that this wine needs a few years in the cellar, and though the QPR is lacking just a bit, I'll bet you this one will improve.
