Bright and profuse aromas of red cherry, cedar, coffee, floral notes, earth, and anise blossomed and wafted from the glass.
This near full bodied Sangiovese wine (90% with 10% Cabernet Sauvignon) exceled in the acid category with smooth to silky tannin.
Floral flavors dominated, but the palate followed the nose faithfully.
Finishes long on menthol and spice.
