Pitch Columbia Valley 2010 Cabernet Sauvignon

Pitch Columbia Valley 2010 Cabernet Sauvignon, $13.50-$18.75, 88 points, appears as a dark ruby trending black currant in color right up to the clear rim and lightly draped glass wall.
An earthy black cherry aroma with hints of cedar and coffee are pleasant.
The moderately smooth near full body carries good acidity with noticeable yet easy tannin, and just a touch of mint up front.
Flavors of licorice, red cherry, and blackberry, though a tad too sweet, are okay, while the trailing palate adds hints of spice to the fair finish.
I bought this excellent value Cabernet as a close-out at the Hannaford's Supermarket in Londonderry.
