Flowers, leather, black cherry, and sea breezes made for a pleasant aroma.
Full bodied with good acidity and strident tannin made for a lively, but exuberant red wine (Bordeaux blend).
Flavors of rich black fruit dominated the palate that otherwise mirrored the aroma.
Finished well with mint, tart pomegranate, mild spice notes, and some warmth from the 14% alcohol.
