SIMI Sonoma County 2013 Sauvignon Blanc, $12.74-$17.99, 86 points, poured with just the slightest fizz with a very light lemon/lime color and trended quite clear toward the glass edge.The nose was honeydew melon, spearmint, and citrus.
The very grassy flavor with lemon zest and tart grapefruit was distinctive and powerful.
Finished fair on the trailing palate with a touch of the 13.5% alcohol and lemon oil.
