$24.64-$31.99, 87 points, poured core black transitioning to candy-apple red toward the still broad clear wine ring.
The slightly funky, perfumed aroma blended just okay with red cherry and a hint of bell pepper.
Medium-plus bodied, fair-plus acidity, supportive mild tannin, and flavors of plum, black cherry, blackberries, tobacco, and licorice were good and smoothly displayed; flavors were superior to the aromas.
Finished fair on the trailing palate, a hint of mint, and a well integrated 14% alcohol.
