Pico and Vine Napa Valley 2013 Cabernet Sauvignon

Pico and Vine Napa Valley 2013 Cabernet Sauvignon, $15.99-$18.99, 88 points, was a crushed black currant purple/red with an obligatory transparent wine ring.
Good aromas were red fruits with black currant and cedar.
More a medium-bodied Cabernet Sauvignon, fair acidity, bright/crisp tannins, and straight forward flavors of pomegranate, red currant, and hints of spearmint.
Finished fair, a tad astringent (Young Cab), herbaceous, and with a well-balanced 14% alcohol.
Sometimes I like this lighter/rougher style of Cabernet Sauvignon; this is one of the better Cabs, in this category, I've tasted; along with the fair QPR, I approve, though I think a few years in the cellar could improve it (JMO).
