Poggio Al Tesoro Solosole Toscan I.G.T. 2014 Vermentino

Poggio Al Tesoro Solosole Toscan I.G.T. 2014 Vermentino, $14.44-$19.99, 90 points, was a burnished gold color.
Shy floral notes were accented by hints of lime and fennel, aromas delicate and fresh.
Light bodied, but quite smooth, fair to good acidity, and stony flavors with hints of tart cumquat, oily orange peel, and white pepper.
Finished fair on the delicious trailing palate and the 13.5% alcohol.
Paired perfectly with my creamy clam chowder and sautéed white fish (pistachios too).
