Ridge Pagani Ranch 2014 Zinfandel

Ridge Pagani Ranch 2014 Zinfandel, $33.14-$38.99, 92 points, poured black all the way to the glass shallows, clear wine ring, and the bowl with heavy draping where a Shiraz purple/red appeared.
Aromatic wintergreen, wild blackberry, black licorice, sandalwood, and juniper were excellent.
Medium-plus body with good acidity and firm supportive tannins managed flavors of peat, plums, and blackberries.
Finished long on the trailing palate, hot spices, and an appropriate 14.8% alcohol.
Paired perfectly with my Buffalo wings.
Varietals were 80% Zinfandel, 17% Alicante Bouschet, and 3% Petite Sirah.

Ridge, why it's a "go to" winery.
