Fitvine 2016 Sauvignon Blanc

Fitvine 2016 Sauvignon Blanc, $16.19-$17.99, 86 points, poured a light brass color with a tinge of green.
Shy floral and grapefruit aromas were lost in a 'sea' of grass.
Light-bodied with fair acidity managed okay flavors of lime and peach.
Finished a bit thin, but long enough on hints of ginger, grass, and a modest 13.4% alcohol.
Okay, I'm not having a fit over this Cali SB, but if the price were less than great Cali SB wines like Silverado and Honig, I might be friendlier.
Paired fine with my baked stuffed sea scallops.
I bought this Sauvignon Blanc at The Whole Foods of Bedford.

    1. VG: Yup; everything about the label says: "MAD"! Great work there!
