Rodney Strong Charlotte's Home Northern Sonoma 2016 Sauvignon Blanc

Rodney Strong Charlotte's Home Northern Sonoma 2016 Sauvignon Blanc, $11.04-$16.99, 91 points, was a light brass color throughout.
Aromas of tangerine peel and fresh-cut grass were good.
Light, crisp, and nicely acidic white wine with flavors which rightly reflected the aromas and a hint of pineapple.
Finished long on the trailing palate, melon rind, a touch of ginger, and an appropriate 13.5% alcohol.
Paired perfectly with my deep-fried Vidalia onion rings and sautéed sea scallops.

  1. Don't think I've ever had a Rodney Strong wine. This might be worth a try; good price, low alc.

  2. The deep fried Vidalia onion rings sound so good Dennis, but those sea scallops of yours I know personally how good they are!😃

    1. I'd be happy to stop by with oil, joy, and onion tears! Just say the word!
