Bonpas Réserve de Bonpas 2010 Châteauneuf-du-Pape

Bonpas Réserve de Bonpas 2010 Châteauneuf-du-Pape, $18.69-$45.99, 92 points, poured a medium purple/red color with a broad clear wine ring and heavily legged glass bowl.
Aromatic black fruit, cedar, and violets were outstanding.
This beautiful satiny medium-plus bodied red wine with moderate acidity and cola flavors complementing flavors of the aromas was simply delicious.
Finished long on hints of cherry, plum, and a bit of chocolate pudding with the trailing palate, easy spices, and a potent 14.5% alcohol.
Varietals were a blend of Syrah, Grenache, and Mourvèdre.
Paired perfectly with our meat-lovers pizza.
At this price most anyone can afford to impress their dinner guests; serve with stews, BBQs, Italian cuisine, and steaks.
