Napa Cellars Napa Valley 2014 Cabernet Sauvignon

Napa Cellars Napa Valley 2014 Cabernet Sauvignon, $20.39-$28.99, 88 points, revealed a black core drifting ruby toward the transparent wine ring and moderately draped glass bowl.
Profuse aromas of dusty black fruit with hints of cedar and anise were good.
Near full-bodied with bright acidity and a grainy underlayment of tannin managed a typical 14.5% alcohol, black fruit flavor profile with hints of plum and licorice; note a slightly unripe mulberry and spice in the fair finish.
Paired okay with my beef and bean stew.
Varietals were 91% Cabernet and 9% Merlot.
