Raymond Napa Valley 'Reserve Selection' 2014 Cabernet Sauvignon

Raymond Napa Valley 'Reserve Selection' 2014 Cabernet Sauvignon, $33.99-$42.99*, 91 points, poured a deep purple/red with a broad clear wine ring and glass bowl of moderate sheeting.
The profuse black fruit aroma was nuanced with an earthy blueberry, plum, and cedar.
Near full-bodied with good acidity and a surprisingly sufficient underlayment of easy tannin supported a plummy flavor profile garnished with tads of black fruit, iron, and a hint of pomegranate.
Finished long on the trailing palate, spicy afterburner, a delayed tannic presence, and a well-balanced 14.5% alcohol.
Paired perfectly with my grass-fed cheese burgers and chips.
* $10.00 rebate pending.
