Kendall-Jackson Vintner's Reserve California 2015 Chardonnay, $10.49-$14.99, 88 points, poured a glossy straw yellow color.
The nose was rich oak notes, but a lovely juniper and citrus potpourri was excellent.
Full-bodied with fair-plus acidity managed to get past the vanilla and caramel flavors with hints of pome fruit.
Finished long on the fading palate, white pepper notes, and a rather tame 13.5% alcohol.
A quintessentially Cali Chardonnay.
Paired well with my chicken salad.
